Description
CruzFluor™ 594 succinimidyl ester dyes maintain similar spectral properties as those of Texas Red® and Alexa Fluor®® 594 with the additional benefits of pH-independence in the range 3-11 pH, good reactivity and reasonable stability to protein amino groups. In addition, CruzFluor™ 594 succinimidyl ester displays an ease for conjugation and higher conjugation yield with RPE resulting in an RPE-iFluor™ 594 tandem that has better FRET efficiency when compared to Texas Red®. These benefits make CruzFluor™ 594 succinimidyl ester dyes a superb alternative to Texas Red®, DyLight® 594 and Alexa Fluor® 594 dyes. The CruzFluor™ 594 dyes have an excitation maxima of ~590 nm and an emission maxima of ~610 nm. Additionally, CruzFluor™ 594 (CFL 594) is offered conjugated to commonly used secondary antibodies for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
The CruzFluor™ family of products are a fluorescent labeling dye series that spans the full visible spectrum, and are useful to conjugate to nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies. The CruzFluor™ dyes are strong reagents for amine modification because they are incorporated with succinimidyl esters, which have a very strong ability to develop amide bonds that are as stable if not identical to the bonds found on a natural peptide.
