CruzFluor™ 405 succinimidyl ester

CruzFluor™ 405 succinimidyl ester dye is a stable fluorescent marker with selectivity for protein amino groups. CruzFluor™ 405 dye shows good reactivity and has an excitation of ~400 nm with an emission maxima of ~420 nm. The CruzFluor™ 405 dye is a comparable alternative to AMCA, DyLight® 405 and Alexa Fluor® 405 labeling dyes. Additionally, CruzFluor™ 405 (CFL 405) is offered conjugated to commonly used secondary antibodies for use in flow cytometry and immunofluorescence.
The CruzFluor™ family of products are a fluorescent labeling dye series that spans the full visible spectrum, and are useful to conjugate to nucleic acids, proteins and antibodies. The CruzFluor™ dyes are strong reagents for amine modification because they are incorporated with succinimidyl esters, which have a very strong ability to develop amide bonds that are as stable if not identical to the bonds found on a natural peptide.
