TLR4 Antibody (25) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TLR4 protein of mouse, rat, human, and canine origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). anti-TLR4 antibody (25) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose and horseradish peroxidase (HRP). TLR4 plays a crucial role in the immune system as a pattern recognition receptor that identifies pathogen-associated molecular patterns, particularly lipopolysaccharides from Gram-negative bacteria. This recognition is vital for initiating innate immune responses, leading to the activation of signaling pathways that result in the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines and the recruitment of immune cells to sites of infection. TLR4 is primarily located on the cell surface of immune cells such as macrophages and dendritic cells, where TLR4 acts as a sentinel for microbial invasion. Proper functioning of TLR4 is essential for maintaining immune homeostasis and responding effectively to infections. Dysregulation of TLR4 signaling has been implicated in various inflammatory diseases, making TLR4 a significant target for therapeutic intervention. When utilized in immunostaining applications, TLR4 monoclonal antibody (25) demonstrates both nuclear and cytoplasmic localization, highlighting TLR4′s dynamic role in cellular signaling. Expression of TLR4 is notably elevated in peripheral blood leukocytes, macrophages, and monocytes, underscoring TLR4′s importance in the immune response across multiple species.
