- Description
- Often used to create iso-osmotic washing solutions. It has been shown that treating cells for MS analysis with a 100mM ammonium acetate solution caused a minimal decline in the number of cells and had little residual salts in the sample. Has been used as a component of a electrolyte solutions. Has also been used to precipitate iron from wheat.
