Description
Towbin, with SDS is a western blot transfer buffer for use with nitrocellulose and PVDF transfer membranes. Towbin buffer is a Tris-glycine buffer with a pH of 8.3; SDS imparts a negative charge and enhances the movement of HMW proteins and proteins with low solubility from the gel.
Also available: Towbin, without SDS, 10X (sc-24955)
Usage
• Dilute to a 1X solution with ddH20
