(S)-Sulforaphane is a antitumor agent that occurs naturally in broccoli. (S)-Sulforaphane is a potent, selective inducer of phase II detoxification enzymes with anticarcinogenic properties. (S)-Sulforaphane is found to inhibit chemically induced mammary tumor formation in rats. (S)-Sulforaphane is a non-competitive antagonist of Aryl Hydrocarbon Receptor.
