- Description
- Pamidronate, Disodium Salt is a bisphosphonate calcium metabolism regulator which specifically induces calcium reabsorption in bones. In addition, Pamidronate selectively activates γδTcells in peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Alternate studies indicate that Pamidronate, Disodium Salt promotes osteoblast proliferation and differentiation while inhibiting osteoclastogenesis and osteoclast function. Furthermore, Pamidronate down-regulates urokinase-type plasminogen activator expression by suppressing uPA mRNA in PC-3 cells.
