Description
Guanosine 5'-O-(3-thiotriphosphate) tetralithium salt is a Gβ-activating (G-protein-activating) GTP analog, which is more resistant to hydrolysis than GTP. Guanosine 5'-O-(3-thiotriphosphate) tetralithium salt induces exocytosis in isolated mouse pancreatic acinar cells. Also reported to stimulate insulin release from pancreatic β-cells.
