I want to use this serum IgG for immunopanning of rat anti-mouse macrophage antibody. Does this antibody work as a 2ndary Ab and binds with any rat anti-mouse antibody? Just let me know this serum will bind with Rat (host) primary antibody or not.Thanks.

Thank you for the question. normal rat IgG: sc-2026 is provided for use as negative control for Western blotting, immunoprecipitation and immunohistochemistry applications. We have not determined the ability of sc-2026 binding to rat antibodies. For binding to rat primary antibodies we suggest using anti-rat secondary antibodies.
