Description
Asterric acid is an antibiotic, fungal metabolite. Inhibitor of vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF)-induced tube formation of human umbilical vein endothelial cells (HUVEC). Asterric acid has also been shown to inhibit the binding of endothelin-1 to the ET(A) receptor of A10 cells.
