Description
Thielavin A is a potent prostaglandin (PG) synthetase inhibitor derived from Thielavia terricola. Studies show that Thielavins A inhibits the transformation of arachinodic acid into prostaglandin H2 (sc-201266). Thielavins A and B (sc-202362) are composed of three hydroxybenzoic acid groups and are structurally related to depsides.
