System includes 1.0 ml normal blocking serum, 250 µg biotinylated secondary antibody, avidin and biotinylated horseradish peroxidase (ABC reagents), peroxidase substrate, DAB chromogen and DAB dilution buffer.
Tissue sections are first incubated with primary antibody. Biotinylated secondary antibody is added, followed by the addition of preformed ABC reagent. The target protein is visualized by incubation in peroxidase substrate.
