  • Nylon transfer membrane has a higher binding capacity than nitrocellulose membranes. Nucleic acid binding is 350 µg/cm².
  • Nylon transfer membrane is naturally hydrophilic, eliminating the need for wetting agents. Membrane wets out evenly and quickly.
  • Membrane has a pore size of 0.45 µm.
  • Nylon transfer membrane is often used for single probe transfers.
