Puromycin Aminonucleoside is the aminonucleoside portion of the antibiotic puromycin. In rats, Puromycin Aminonucleoside is used in the study of focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis and the induction of nephrosis in rats. The excretion of sodium and NOx metabolites in rats with Puromycin Aminonucleoside-induced nephrotic syndrome has been studied. Puromycin Aminonucleoside is used to probe endothelial glycosaminoglycan synthesis in cultured glomerular endothelial cells and their relation to cell permeability.

5mg Puromycin aminonucleoside is soluble at 1ml PBS to give clear colorless solution.

Is this soluble in anything other than water?

Thank you for your question. This chemical, Puromycin Aminonucleoside: sc-200112, is soluble at ~5 mg/ml in PBS (pH 7.2), ~20 mg/ml in DMSO and ~10 mg/ml in DMF
