p-NFκB p65 Antibody (27.Ser 536) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects phosphorylated NFκB p65 in mouse, rat, and human samples by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). p-NFκB p65 monoclonal antibody (27.Ser 536) is available in conjugated and non-conjugated forms for various experimental applications. NFκB p65 plays a crucial role in regulating immune responses, cell proliferation, and survival, making NFκB p65 a key player in inflammatory processes and cancer development. NFκB p65 activation is tightly controlled, as aberrant signaling can lead to chronic inflammation and tumorigenesis. NFκB p65 primarily resides in the cytoplasm in an inactive form, bound to an inhibitor, and upon stimulation by growth factors or cytokines, NFκB p65 translocates to the nucleus where NFκB p65 binds to specific DNA sequences to initiate transcription of target genes. This dynamic localization enables timely regulation of immune responses and cellular functions, highlighting NFκB p65′s importance in various biological contexts. NFκB p65 undergoes post-translational modifications, including phosphorylation at Serine-536, which enhances transcriptional activity and serves as a critical step in the activation signaling cascade. Understanding these modifications provides insights into mechanisms of diseases associated with dysregulated NFκB signaling.
